Japnik Singh
I was Born and brought up in Amritsar, I went to IIT Bombay to pursue my bachelors degree. After that I joined Optiver Chicago as a Derivatives Trader.
I consider myself to be extremely lucky and grateful for all the opportunities that I had during my lifetime, but at the same time I realize that not everyone gets those opportunities, which motivated me to work with people at Sanjhi Sikhiya who are doing tremendous work in uplifting the primary education at the ground level in villages of Punjab. In coming years, I would like to see this program and organization to expand their reach to entire Punjab and also produce quality leaders along the way.

I have been involved with Sanjhi Sikhiya for the last 3 years. Living and working in the finance industry in US for the past 15 years, I had always felt a longing for my roots and deeply cared about the current state of affairs in Punjab and wished to see change. Sanjhi Sikhiya gave me that hope and I have tried to be a part of the movement since then.
